The Well

The Well is a new pre-construction condo project by Tridel, Rhapsody Property Management Services , RioCan , Diamondcorp and Allied Properties. The Well Condos will be a redevelopment of the Globe and Mail building located at located at Spadina Avenue and Wellington Street West in Downtown Toronto.

The Well Condos Toronto, a 1.4 billion dollar development plan proposed to create offices, shops, and residences in the Spadina/Wellington area. The condos will be a 3.1 million-square-foot-mixed use development which will cover 7.8 acres of downtown Toronto real estate. Acclaimed Real Estate Developer Tridel will spearhead the project that will see 3 high-rise condos, along with 3 apartments, an office building and retail space totalling 420,000 square feet rise up from Spadina avenue and Front Street.

A 36-storey office tower will occupy the southwest corner of the site, a beacon of contemporary architecture, acting as a gateway to the community. Further west along Front Street, three more buildings are proposed, standing 44, 38 and 21 storeys each. To the north of the site, along Wellington, three more buildings, two standing 15 storeys and one only 13.

Condominiums will consist of 1,587 residential units in total, with 792 being one-bedroom suites, 517 being two-bedroom suites and 174 allocated for three-bedroom suites.
