In addition to the community amenities, each building will have its own amenities that create all-encompassing, unique lifestyles for its residents. The first phase will take down the western portion of the Galleria Shopping Centre and replace it with two condominium buildings and the new Wallace Emerson Community Centre. The eastern part will continue to operate, providing essential services such as the bank, pharmacy, grocery store, and fitness centre.

The three-story community centre is designed by award-winning Perkins + Will and will feature a pool, gymnasium, fitness centre, indoor running spaces, childcare centre, and flexible open spaces. The centre will be almost 100,000 Sq. Ft. – making it one of the largest in Toronto!

The first phase consists of the construction of two mixed-use condominium buildings at 24 and 29 storeys high on top of a nine-storey podium. Approximately 470 condominium units will be provided along with 150 rental units within the podium levels. The units for the first two buildings will range from one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den to two-bedroom.

As for the rest of the phases, a new 8-acre park will be built at the southern portion of the site which will provide residents with even more essential community amenities. The park will bring everyone together to play, exercise, and relax. Plans include an outdoor winter skating trail and a sports field. Designed by Public Works, plans depict splitting the park into three sections, all interconnected through picturesque paths and trails.

The “Community Heart” is perfect for meeting your friends at the skateboard park and winter skating trail right beside the new community centre.

The “Play Heart” will feature the multi-purpose sports field, an artificial hill and play spaces.

The “Nature Heart” is perfect for late afternoon strolls, mirroring a forest-like environment through its green spaces and trails.
